West Indies Petroleum Limited (WIP) is a leading integrated energy company in Jamaica. WIP has two subsidiaries, WIP Energy and WIP Terminal, through which it provides fuel import, export, distribution, retail, lubricants, and storage services. Founded in 2013, the company has grown rapidly to capture approximately 30% market share of the fuel market and compete successfully with multinational brands. WIP is committed to powering Jamaica’s economy sustainably, ensuring energy security while driving economic growth in Jamaica and the Caribbean region.
Our Onshore Land Operations retail and commercial clients have the option of filling their own fleet of vehicles at the South Terminal (Port Esquivel) rack for distribution across the island or working with our trucking fleet to manage distribution and deliver directly to their location.
We have two storage terminal facilities, “WIP Terminal South”, located at Port Esquivel, St. Catherine on the South Coast of Jamaica and “WIP Terminal North”, a smaller facility located at Ocho Rios Pier, St. Ann on the North Coast. The terminals provide fuel for clients across the island (both large and small fuelling operations) and facilitate regional export, and bunkering operations for cruise and cargo ships in port around Jamaica.
We can deliver the required grade of Heavy Fuel Oil, Marine Gas Oil (MGO), VLSFO, ULSD and marine lubricants via trucks, direct pipeline, or delivery and service at sea via our fleet from our storage terminal locations.
